UMT Part I.

My first five days at the University of Montana was a lot of pre-recruitment activities but, I also got to see a little bit of what Missoula had to offer.

A year ago, I would of never believed anyone if they told me I would be spending two weeks in Montana.
Never say never. Because here I am . . .

I found another concrete letter out west, this time it was a "M". One day while the chapter women had a break I decided to go for a run and for some reason I decided I would run towards the "M". Then I decided I would hike up to the "M". Then I decided to call my dearest, Alex Russo while hiking up the "M".

A glorious view of the Washington-Grizzly Stadium

On my way up
The letter "M" is actually 620 feet up a small mountain called Mount Sentinel on the east side of campus. The University of Montana is actually the only University in the nation to own a mountain.

After a (literally) winded hike and phone call, I made it to the "M" before running back to the house for another round of meetings and workshops.

A forest fire was going on nearby so some of the chapter women and I decided to chase it.
It was a wild night in Missoula.

Here is a round of singing, chanting and photo taking . . .

The night before I had to leave I went with some of the chapter women to a Greek Life BBQ. It is always nice to be mistaken for a potential new member,
oh how I wish I could eighteen all over again.

Here's to my first weekend off, S
